Gluten Free Tamari Soy Sauce Packets ~ Oh My!

Since I live in the middle of nowhere Illinois little finds like these are hard to come by and when I do find them I feel like the luckiest gal in the whole wide world.  I have just recently acquired a love of sushi but knowing that I cannot trust restaurants to provide Gluten Free Soy Sauce is a real disappointment.  Now I do not have to worry about that anymore.

San J products makes an Organic Tamari Soy Sauce in packets.  I found it while shopping in St. Louis at Whole Foods, and yes I do have to drive over 2 hours to shop at places like Whole Foods but it is completely worth the effort.  (Sorry the picture is so poor)

This little box has 20 packets included of the organic goodness.  I did not copy down the nutrition facts for this ~ sorry ~ I was just too excited.  I keep a full size bottle of Gluten Free Soy Sauce at home but to have these handy little travel packs now to take with me anywhere I must go has just made my day.  A box cost approx $3.50 which isn't cheap but we all know we pay a price for convenience.  In fact I expected it to be quite a bit more.

Whole Foods has even done more to make the Gluten Free shopping experience more enjoyable.  They now have these little shelf tags denoting products that are Gluten Free.  I found a ton of stuff that I had never been able to find back home in our town of 40,000 people.  Now that I know what's available I can take it to the local Grocery Store and ask them to order some in.  They are great about that, in fact they even have a whole dedicated Gluten Free section which I just love.

Well I hope you enjoy this little find and am excited to know that the manufacturers are thinking about us Gluten Free people more and more.

Enjoy!

Passage for the day ~ John 15:7  NLV  If you get your life from Me and My Words live in you, ask whatever you want.  It will be done for you.

How refreshing is that!  Drink in those words!  I  think they will become this weeks memory verse.

Blessings!
